Description

Onyx 180 Freestanding Vehicle Awning

Expansive vehicle-mounted shelter with fast deployment and flexible mounting. The Onyx 180 is a premium 180 freestanding awning designed to provide dependable shade, integrated camp lighting, and adaptable shelter for overlanding, roadside stops, and extended basecamp use.

With a full 180-degree sweep and approximately 80 square feet of coverage, this 180 freestanding awning creates a spacious covered area for cooking, relaxing, organizing equipment, or escaping changing weather conditions. Its versatile configuration allows it to be mounted on either the left or right side of a vehicle, trailer, or compatible rack system.

The Onyx 180 is built around a rugged 4-arm aluminum box-truss structure that supports rapid one-person deployment. In calm conditions, the awning can be used without support poles, allowing you to establish a shaded camp area quickly without assembling a complicated frame.

When wind or rain arrives, four integrated telescoping support poles and reinforced tie-down points provide additional stability. The awning is designed to be mounted at approximately six feet high, with an allowable variation of roughly four to six inches depending on the vehicle, trailer, and rack configuration.

The canopy is constructed from durable 320gsm polycotton honeycomb canvas and incorporates 23Zero’s Light Suppression Technology (LST). Its dark undercoating helps reduce light, heat, glare, and UV penetration, creating cooler and more comfortable shelter beneath the canopy.
